In search of signs of internationalization of the curriculum: analysis of the latest change of plan for the bachelor’s degree in Economics at the National University of the South

Globalization has brought new challenges in higher education and the university tries to give response to this adapting to the socio-technological changes. In the current context, it is essential to seek how to develop the acquisition of skills and abilities through internationalization at home,specifically the internationalization of the curriculum, i.e., the incorporation of an international and intercultural dimension both in the content and in the teaching and learning processes (Leask, 2013a; Luchilo, 2017). The purpose of this work is to analyze the latest change in the plan of the degree in Economics of the U.N.S. (National University of the South), based on curricular
documents and surveys. The results show certain changes but these do not seem to break with certain continuities, although, since a long time, the U.N.S. and in particular the Department of Economics, have carried out different academic activities linked to the internationalization of education
